[Link] | Banner I did for FurAffinity, I was happier about this two days ago, now I have to look at all the errors I found after finishing it everytime I visit the site. thank god for Opera ad block!

Gosh, this is crappy, probably the reason I gave up on it after half an hour. It shows a pakkaderi in the foreground trying to talk with a foreign traveller without getting too close... or something

WIP, though I don't know if I'll ever finish it. From left to rigth: Ellis' dad - a respected man in his community, Ellis - Pat's bother, Jazfargot - a bitter and jaded woman, mother of Ellis and Pat, Pat and Pat's father at the very end there, he's a charming man, but not one you want to get involved in

Quick bust sketches of Jazfargot, Ellis and Pat

I don't even know, canines are silly as fuck

Icons! Holler if you want to see bigger versions of any of these, can't be arsed to hotlink

Oh yay, Pat. Do these nose-things inherit their colours or are they born with random colours? Also that's beautiful dog there.
To some degree, yes, there are dominant and recessive colours that are directly linked to their skin colour. Darker colours are more commonly inherited than lighter from parent to child, but this is not always the case (a bit like dark and light eye colours or something, colours sometimes “skip” generations and pop up later). The colour also tends to fade as they get older due to less circulation brought to the area. Also, the colour generally ranges from light beige to dark brown, but various skin conditions can change this. I just said “colour” like six times lol
Dogs are truly majestic and true animals, not even mentioning wolves

I love how subtle yet still noticeable the gender differences are in Pat's family.
Lol I always kind of disliked womanly women for some strange feminazi reason so I alway avoid this in all my female characters. I'm working on it, I really am

The androgyny's a good thing, though, especially since they're an entirely different species. :>
And you won't find any criticism here for non-girly girls. X3 My characters totally fail at the general notion of womanliness.
Dude your painting is amaaaaazing. I love your character sketches like, a ridiculous amount.
Woah, thank you so much :o
LOL IT'S GREAT. HOW'S THE CAT?
(And I'm slow with my redundant replies as usual, haha)
YOU ARE AND THAT IS UNACCEPTABLE
she is sleeping on my bed atm, being adorable :3

Really like the feel of those sketches (my fave is Ellis' papa)
Also, betta fish!
I KNEW that was you! Funny thing was i saw that a couple days ago and my first thought was "That looks like it was done by kalamu!" and I kept trying to figure out where I could find this out. and it had been really bothering me trying to figure out who had your coloring style (which I an even see in just a foot)
I think it's nice...
Also, I really like all of those character portraits! Real fun characters!
I reckon it is right there on the front page who's done the banner, they usually put the name and/or icon of the person to the right of the page
I love the worlds and characters you build around for your original content. Really amazing stuff, you never cease to inspire me.
Aw, thank you. Now with ArtSlam up and going I'll be adding images when I feel inspired to draw. I'm thrilled and I do hope we're allow to cheat and start a few days before, harhar

The character portraits, (of your characters, not the icons), are just amazing. The first one has so much life and depth in it, I could just reach out and feel that hair. Keep it up! You're adding a ton of depth and warm.
Hey, hey, man, horribly late reply. But I thought I'd show you this, artslam. If you have time I really think you should take a look at it, might be up your alley :p
hey! you've got some really nice things here! ;) |
