A younger Pat and Ellis doing some climbing

A quickie of Morcant, a hopeless romantic

Jazfargot, Pat and Ellis' mother, Herad and Feria's former lover

Vysh-Herad, Ellis' father

Jo-Feria, Pat's father

Ellis

Pat

Moskuan heads

Pakkaderi heads

Old sketch of Morcant and one of the the caravan animals he trains. This one sucks, but whatever

The Yellow Brigade!

Sketches of the ancestors of my alien species called badefadesi as well as a semi-realistic portrait, meh

Some animal. I haven’t figured out what they do yet, but they’re hilarious looking

Some other animals

I love that in your bigger pieces the figures are always doing something. Especially in the one of Pat and Ellis; there's so much to look at and interpret!
Thank you!
Yeah, I feel my art's going stale with all the commissions of characters just standin about, so when I have the chance I try to do some character interaction
do the moskuan ever open their top mouths? how does that work?
wicked stuff btw
Oh, they do (look, I even drew one of them gasping in surprise here). While it's not impossible to open both jaws at once, it's not very effective - how wide it can open being determined by the bottom one, divide that space by two and you get two puny bites instead of one not-so-puny The bottom jaws are often favourited being the strongest of the two sets. For note, the middle jaw is just a plate of bone joined to the main jaws by muscle and tendons, but not really a "solid" part of the skull

Digging the concept sketches, especially the ancestor and the swimming motion bits.

Oh god- the texture on Jazfargot! That could be from a freaking photograph! She looks so real! People un-friending you are missing out on this awesomeness...
Thank you! I don't mind, I tend to do it myself to dead accounts
I guess that makes me a zombie, then
It's the icons that I love the most, don't know why. You work very well in a limited space.
I just love this one. The tongue reminds me of a giraffe or an okapi.
Guess where the inspiration came from? I'm too nunoriginal to think of any cool, original concepts on my own, so I steal from nature (she doesn't seem to mind, though)
Ooo, I like these, especially the artslam busts you did. Of unfriending, I once had two Russian teenagers adding me to their friends list and after a week they unfriended me, then returned and unfriended again. I wonder that they even wanted.
Russian accounts kind of freak me out. Half of the time I get the feeling the people behind them just aren't real... or are some kind of super lame spam bots. S'just, what's with the massive adding and un-friending? What purpose does it serve?
Especially if there's not a word of english there. My only guess is that they try to get as many people to add them back, like the watcher spammers in DA. And when someone doesn't add back, they unfriend because they weren't really interested.
I like a lot of this and really like the image of Jazfargot and Ellis in particular. And all the species heads.
But I am fascinated by all the different species of ladies splashed with yellow! It looks like some kind of woman festival or something. It's got me curious. (And sort of tempted to draw one of my critter-women with similar splashes of paint) Additionally, the small one in front of the Moskuan is adorable.
Aw, thank you! You can read about it all here, but skip to the bottom if you just wanna read the story of the Yellow Brigade

I see my prettyful Muse! C:
Man, I'm going to have to sound like a broken record, but the Pat and Ellis climbing one is my favorite. And then I like number one.
All very cool! I always love the way you render light. :)

Muuuubaby--
Does such a place exist where you upload the full resolutions of the icons you do? I'd love to seem them.
Yeees, just tell me which ones you want to see
I used to hotlink, then I used to ask people to tell me which ones they wanted to see bigger ('cause I'm lazy, yeah), but no one seemed interested so I stopped XD

fff, all if possible. I can't really pick. I like the one in the middle of this bunch though and a few from past entries I can't quite recall.
*squint* Mmmmaybe there's a guest pass for your Photobucket you wouldn't mind sharing?
